Kahuku Red Raiders (Kahuku, HI) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Kalani Falcons (Honolulu, HI), 68-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Kahuku upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Red Raiders host Farrington (Honolulu, HI) to play the Governors in a Oahu - East II bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Governors go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Farrington lost 64-54 in their recent non-league bout against Kaimuki (Honolulu, HI)

Next up, the Falcons play the Kailua Surfriders (Kailua, HI) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Kalani will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Surfriders go into the bout with a 13-4 record after their 73-40 non-league win over Kaiser (Honolulu, HI).
