In Thursday's league outing, the Maricopa Rams (Maricopa, AZ) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting West Point Dragons (Avondale, AZ), by a margin of 48-27.
The Rams (5-16) will now prepare for their outing against Valley Vista (Surprise, AZ). The Monsoon go into the 6A West Valley outing with a 14-4 record. In their last outing, Valley Vista smashed Shadow Ridge (Surprise, AZ), 64-21, in a league outing.
The Dragons now own a 3-17 record. They play next when they host Cesar Chavez for a 6A West Valley outing on Friday, February 2. West Point will clash with a Champions squad coming off a 42-20 league win over Tolleson (Tolleson, AZ). The Champions record now stands at 17-3.
