California High School Baseball - Hillsdale nips Carlmont

March 28, 2025: San Mateo, CA 94403

The Hillsdale Fighting Knights baseball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Carlmont Scots to 2 in the Fighting Knights league win on Friday.

The Fighting Knights now hold a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Homestead for a non-league test on Saturday, March 29. Hillsdale will play a Mustangs team coming off a 6-5 league loss to Gunn (Palo Alto, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-6.

With the defeat, Carlmont drops to 5-6 on the year. The Scots host Menlo-Atherton (Atherton, CA) to play the Bears in a Peninsula - Bay test on Wednesday, April 2. The Bears go into the test with a record of 9-4. Menlo-Atherton won 9-0 in their recent league test against Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton, CA)
