Wyoming High School Softball - East can't hold off Thunder Basin

The Thunder Basin Bolts softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host East Thunderbirds to 8 in the Bolts non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Thunder Basin moves its record to 22-4 on the year.
Game Summary
East Thunderbirds Varsity Girls Softball fought hard but fell 9-8 to Thunder Basin Varsity Bolts in a close game. Despite trailing by six runs in the first inning, East Thunderbirds staged a comeback, scoring eight runs, including RBIs from Stehwien, Hollibaugh, Christensen, and Oswald. East Thunderbirds Varsity Girls Softball evened things up at eight in the bottom of the sixth inning. Oswald singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run. However, Thunder Basin ultimately secured the win. Stehwien showcased her power with home runs in the first and second innings. East Thunderbirds recorded a total of 15 hits, with Oswald, Christensen, Hollibaugh, and Stehwien leading the offense. Despite their efforts, East Thunderbirds Varsity Girls Softball fell just short in a tightly contested match.
