IMG Academy, St. John Bosco, Mater Dei and St. Thomas Aquinas are the only schools that have finished ranked at least eight times since 2015.

IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.) is the only high school football program in the country that has finished ranked in the MaxPreps Top 25 every season over the last decade. The Ascenders' lone national championship came in 2020 and they have finished ranked in the top 10 eight times since 2015.

St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.) is the only other school that has finished ranked every season they have participated in. The Braves were not included in 2020 because California did not play football in the fall due to the COVID pandemic. Head coach Jason Negro's program has finished ranked in the top 10 nine times since 2015 and earned national championship recognition in 2019 and 2022.

Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) and St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) tied for the third-most MaxPreps Top 25 finishes over the last decade with eight each.

The Monarchs went wire-to-wire as the No. 1 team in the country last season and became the first school to win three national championships during the MaxPreps era. Mater Dei has finished ranked in the top three seven consecutive seasons.

The Raiders won their sixth-straight Florida state title in 2024 and finished ranked in the MaxPreps Top 25 for the sixth consecutive year.

Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas), Centennial (Corona, Calif.), Duncanville (Texas) and North Shore (Houston) are tied with the fifth-most MaxPreps Top 25 finishes with seven apiece.

In total, 23 states along with the District of Columbia have had at least one school finished ranked in the MaxPreps Top 25 over the last decade.

Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming are the states who have not had a team finish ranked in the MaxPreps Top 25 since 2015.

* California, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia and Washington did not play football during the fall of 2020 because of COVID and were not included in the final MaxPreps Top 25 rankings that season.
