Texas high school football playoff scores: North Shore vs. Tompkins headlines 6A regional action

Lone Star State postseason action heating up in state's two largest classifications.
Texas high school football gives everyone an early Christmas present this week with a full slate of 5A and 6A games, headlined by No. 2 North Shore (Houston) taking on No. 21 Tompkins.
That game features a future preview of SEC-bound quarterbacks — Auburn-bound Dematrius Davis Jr. for North Shore and Tompkins' Jalen Milroe whose headed to Alabama. In 36 career starts, Milroe has completed 311 of 521 passes for 5,350 yards, 52 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. All Davis does in win with a 43-1 mark over the past three seasons, including back-to-back 6A Division I titles.
In other 6A-D1 action, 10-1 Trinity takes on 1-0 Allen, Duncanville and Westfield tangle, and Southlake Carrol battles Martin.
In 6A-D2 matchups Cedar Hill hopes to hand 11-0 Tomball Memorial (Tomball) its first loss, while Shadow Creek (Pearland looks for knock off 9-1 Katy.
Highland Park (Dallas) puts its 10-0 record on the line against 7-3 Lone Star (Frisco) in 5A-D1 action.
