Colleyville Heritage's Suliane Davis third with 479 kills while Brett Favre's niece leads country in hitting percentage.

A pair of Preseason All-Americans are among the national high school volleyball kills leaders. Suliane Davis of Colleyville Heritage (Colleyville, Texas) checks in at No. 3 while Lauren Hurst of Cleveland (Tenn.) sits at No. 3, according to stats submitted to MaxPreps.

Davis, a BYU commit, has 479 kills this season as the Panthers are 22-5 and sit just outside the MaxPreps Top 25 rankings. She is averaging 6.8 kills per set with a 50 percent kill rate

Hurst has 431 kills for the 20-9 Blue Raiders. The two-sport standout helped Cleveland to a 24-10 record and semifinal postseason berth on the hardwood, averaging 14.0 points and 8.7 rebounds. In volleyball, Hurst and the Blue Raiders won last year's Division I Class AAA title as Hurst led the squad with 766 kills.

At the top of the hitting percentage list is a familiar name — Favre, as in Myah Favre of Our Lady Academy (Bay St. Louis, Miss.). She is the niece of former NFL quarterback Brett Favre and among a handful of standout volleyball players with famous family members.

Myah Favre is leading the nation with a .549 hitting percentage for the 25-3 Crescents. The junior has 313 kills.
