Renmari Willis has been named player of the year. "#33 Renmari Willis (Cpt) led his team throughout the season with grit, tenacity, and determination. He did whatever was necessary to help our team win, and not even a winless season stopped Renmari from maintaining his performance. He was the first in the gym for practice and the last to leave. During study hall, Renmari tutored some of his teammates to help them maintain their grades, all while managing a 3.5 GPA. Renmari overcame adversity while facing tough teams in our 3A/4A United 8 conferences and still managed to lead his team with the most double-doubles this season, averaging almost 16 points and 12 rebounds per game. Renmari also received an honorable mention for United 8 Conference Stat Leader, among other accolades."
