The MaxPreps Game of the Week featured two of the top teams in Ohio and No. 24
St. Edward (Lakewood) improved to 9-1 with a 14-7 win at
Archbishop Hoban (Akron). The Knights only points came on the Eagles opening drive when
Eli Lee returned an interception for a touchdown.
Nate Gregory tied it up early in the second quarter with a 1-yard touchdown run on fourth down.
With the game still tied 7-7, the back-to-back Division I state champs put together an 11-play, 90 yard drive that featured all runs.

Ben Roebuck paved the way for sophomore running back
Brandon White. After a key third down conversion from
Kyan Mason, White punched it in from 12 yards out to put St. Edward ahead 14-7 with just under four minutes remaining. The Eagles head into the playoffs riding a five-game win streak. It was the first loss of the season for the Knights as they head into the Division II playoffs.
The Panthers continued their dominant season with a one-sided 49-3 win over
Skyline (Dallas). The defending 6A Division 1 state champs improved to 7-0 and have outscored opponents 354-26. North Shore beat
Humble 38-24 and are 8-0 heading into a showdown against
Atascocita (Humble) next Friday. Duncanville faces its toughest opponent to date next Friday at No. 13
DeSoto. The Eagles beat
Cedar Hill 35-13 to improve to 7-0.
No. 15
Norland (Miami) added another quality win to its resume with a 16-3 victory against
Columbus (Miami) in the GMAC championship. The Vikings are 8-0 and have two games remaining until the 2M playoffs get underway.
No. 16 Massillon (Ohio) was the only MaxPreps Top 25 team to play on Saturday and they beat their rival
McKinley (Canton), 35-0. It was the 134rd meeting between the two and the Tigers hold a 76-53-5 series edge. The Tigers head into the Division II playoffs a perfect 10-0.
