Blount is averaging 9.8 points and 2.2 assists per contest while shooting 72 of 211 (34.1 percent) from the field, 37 of 108 (34.3 percent) from 3-point range and 54 of 66 (81.8 percent) from the free throw line.
The diminutive guard has piled up double-digit points in half of his 24 games. He has also scored nine or more points in six of his past seven games.

Blount put together his most complete game of the season in an 86-47 win against
Northpoint Christian (Southaven, Miss.) on Jan. 16, finishing with 17 points, seven assists, four steals and three assists.
First Assembly Christian (13-11) has already notched nine more wins than it did all of last season, when it struggled to a 4-22 record.
