In Friday's league outing, the Derry Trojans (Derry, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Apollo Ridge Vikings (Spring Church, PA), by a margin of 63-25.

The Trojans (6-3) will now prepare for their outing against Valley (New Kensington, PA). The Vikings go into the WPIAL 3A 3 outing with a 3-5 record. In their last outing, Valley smashed Ligonier Valley (Ligonier, PA), 53-49, in a league outing.
