Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Derry routs Apollo Ridge
January 5, 2024: Derry, PA 15627 In Friday's league outing, the Derry Trojans (Derry, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Apollo Ridge Vikings (Spring Church, PA), by a margin of 63-25.
The Trojans (6-3) will now prepare for their outing against Valley (New Kensington, PA). The Vikings go into the WPIAL 3A 3 outing with a 3-5 record. In their last outing, Valley smashed Ligonier Valley (Ligonier, PA), 53-49, in a league outing.
The Vikings now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they host Deer Lakes for a WPIAL 3A 3 outing on Tuesday, January 9. Apollo Ridge will clash with a Lancers squad coming off a 65-43 league win over Burrell (Lower Burrell, PA). The Lancers record now stands at 8-2.
