January 10, 2023: Boonsboro, MD 21713 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Clear Spring Blazers (Clear Spring, MD) and the host Boonsboro Warriors (Boonsboro, MD), saw Clear Spring's basketball squad hold off Boonsboro by a tally of 44-37.
With the victory, Clear Spring improves its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Blazers travel to Mountain Ridge (Frostburg, MD) to play the Miners in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 13. The Miners come into the challenge with a record of 5-5. Mountain Ridge won 66-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Washington (Charles Town, WV)
Next up, the Warriors play the Smithsburg Leopards (Smithsburg, MD) in a CMC challenge, on Friday, January 13. Boonsboro will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Leopards come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 60-58 league loss to Middletown (Middletown, MD).
