The Hernando Leopards basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Citrus Hurricanes to 52 in the Leopards non-league victory on Friday.

The Leopards now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lecanto for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 16. Hernando will battle a Panthers team coming off a 62-60 non-league loss to Central (Brooksville, FL). The Panthers record now stands at 11-4.

The Hurricanes (2-11) will now prepare for their contest against Crystal River (Crystal River, FL). The Pirates come into the non-league contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Crystal River was defeated by Nature Coast Tech (Brooksville, FL), 65-42, in a league contest.
