January 17, 2024: Albuquerque, NM 87114 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Eldorado Golden Eagles (Albuquerque, NM), saw Cibola's basketball squad overcome Eldorado by a tally of 62-52.
With the victory, Cibola improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Bears in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 19. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. La Cueva won 60-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM)
Next up, the Golden Eagles confront the Piedra Vista Panthers (Farmington, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 23. Eldorado will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record.
