The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV) and the host Winfield Generals (Winfield, WV), observed Ripley's basketball team edge Winfield by a score of 52-50.

The Vikings (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Sissonville (Charleston, WV). The Indians come into the Cardinal challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, Sissonville was tipped by Hoover (Clendenin, WV), 44-32, in a league challenge.
