The Myers Park Mustangs basketball squad (Charlotte, NC), was nudged 43-39 in Friday's league battle with the visiting South Mecklenburg Sabres (Charlotte, NC)

With the victory, South Mecklenburg advances its record to 9-7 on the year. The Sabres host Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC) to meet the Knights in a battle on Wednesday, January 22. The Knights enter the battle with a record of 9-2.

The Mustangs now own a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ballantyne Ridge for a non-league battle on Friday, January 24. Myers Park will meet a Wolves squad coming off a 50-20 league loss to South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Wolves record now stands at 1-10.
