Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) and the visiting Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA), saw Western Branch's basketball squad wallop Hickory by a tally of 81-54.

With the victory, Western Branch improves its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA) to confront the Wildcats in a Southeastern challenge on Friday, January 27. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 11-4. Great Bridge lost 80-38 in their recent league challenge against King's Fork (Suffolk, VA)
