Virginia High School Basketball - Grassfield succumbs to Western Branch

January 17, 2023: Chesapeake, VA 23323

The Western Branch Bruins topped the host Grassfield Grizzlies basketball team by a final score of 83-70 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Bruins face the Oscar Smith Tigers (Chesapeake, VA) in a Southeastern game, on Friday, January 20. Western Branch will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 11-1 record after their 59-38 league loss to King's Fork (Suffolk, VA).

With the defeat, Grassfield moves to 4-6 on the year. The Grizzlies travel to Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA) to face the Hornets in a Southeastern game on Friday, January 20.
