The Lincoln Charter Eagles basketball squad (Denver, NC), lost 74-64 in Friday's league battle with the host Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC)

With the victory, Corvian Community advances its record to 10-5 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Lake Norman Christian (Davidson, NC) to meet the Lions in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 25. The Lions enter the battle with a record of 16-9. Lake Norman Christian lost 76-38 in their recent non-league battle against Davidson Day (Davidson, NC)

The Eagles now own a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Community School of Davidson for a 1A/2A Catawba Shores battle on Tuesday, January 28. Lincoln Charter will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 81-70 league win over Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 9-9.
