North Carolina High School Basketball - Chambers overwhelms Hough

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Chambers Cougars (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC), saw Chambers's basketball squad wallop Hough by a tally of 72-49.

With the victory, Chambers improves its record to 13-6 on the campaign. The Cougars host Harding University (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Rams in a 3A/4A Queen City challenge on Friday, February 2. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 5-13. Harding University lost 56-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Olympic (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Huskies confront the West Mecklenburg Hawks (Charlotte, NC) in a 3A/4A Queen City challenge, on Friday, February 2. Hough will attempt to improve on its 4-14 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 78-49 league loss to Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC).
