Minnesota High School Basketball - Zimmerman topped by St. Francis
February 1, 2024: Zimmerman, MN 55398 The St. Francis Fighting Saints basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the host Zimmerman Thunder to 61 in the Fighting Saints league victory on Thursday.
The Fighting Saints now sport a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cambridge-Isanti for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. St. Francis will battle a Bluejackets team coming off a 81-56 league loss to Forest Lake (Forest Lake, MN). The Bluejackets record now stands at 13-6.
The Thunder (6-14) will now prepare for their contest against Big Lake (Big Lake, MN). The Hornets come into the AAA Section 5 contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Big Lake prevailed over Princeton (Princeton, MN), 80-70, in a league contest.
