KIPP Pride Pride (Gaston, NC) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Southeast Halifax Trojans (Halifax, NC), 67-58 in a league match.

With the victory, KIPP Pride advances its record to 4-10 on the year. The Pride host Wilson Prep (Wilson, NC) to meet the Tigers in a 1A Tar Roanoke match on Tuesday, February 4. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 11-4. Wilson Prep won 87-73 in their recent league match against Rocky Mount Prep (Rocky Mount, NC)

The Trojans now own a 2-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Edgecombe for a 1A Tar Roanoke match on Tuesday, February 4.
