Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Deer Lakes Lancers (Russellton, PA) and the visiting Apollo Ridge Vikings (Spring Church, PA), saw Deer Lakes's basketball squad wallop Apollo Ridge by a count of 78-23.

With the victory, Deer Lakes upgrades its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Lancers host Highlands (Natrona Heights, PA) to play the Golden Rams in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 3.
