February 2, 2024: Forestville, MD 20747 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD) and the visiting St. Mary's Ryken Knights (Leonardtown, MD), saw Bishop McNamara's basketball squad hold off St. Mary's Ryken by a tally of 65-62.
With the victory, Bishop McNamara improves its record to 13-9 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Paul VI (Chantilly, VA) to confront the Panthers in a VISAA Division I challenge on Sunday, February 4. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 21-2. Paul VI won 73-57 in their recent league challenge against St. Frances Academy (Baltimore, MD)
Next up, the Knights confront the Paul VI Panthers (Chantilly, VA) in a VISAA Division I challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. St. Mary's Ryken will attempt to improve on its 10-14 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 22-2 record after their 74-55 league win over Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD).
