Connecticut High School Basketball - Northwestern Regional thwarts Wamogo
February 6, 2024: Winsted, CT 06098 The Northwestern Regional Highlanders (Winsted, CT) basketball knocked off the visiting Wamogo Warriors (Litchfield, CT), 65-56 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Highlanders (13-4) will now prepare for their test against Housatonic-Wamogo (Falls Village, CT). The Mountaineers go into the non-league test with a 2-13 record.
The Warriors now own a 9-4 record. They play next when they host Shepaug Valley for a non-league test on Friday, February 9. Wamogo will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 86-62 non-league win over Harding (Bridgeport, CT). The Spartans record now stands at 12-5.
