The Porter Ridge Pirates ran past the host Cuthbertson Cavaliers basketball team by a final score of 65-55 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Pirates face the Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC) in a 4A Southern Carolina game, on Friday, February 16. Porter Ridge will attempt to move on its 17-5 season record. The Spartans enter the game with a 12-11 record after their 56-52 league loss to Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC).
