In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA), by a margin of 98-74.

The Barons (16-10) will now prepare for their outing against Carlisle (Axton, VA). The Chiefs go into the VISAA Division IV outing with a 11-10 record.

The Bishops now own a 8-19 record. They play next when they host Miller School of Albemarle for a Virginia Independent outing on Thursday, February 9. Virginia Episcopal School will encounter a Mavericks squad coming off a 61-49 non-league win over Roanoke Catholic (Roanoke, VA). The Mavericks record now stands at 13-11.
