Virginia High School Basketball - Covenant ripped by Virginia Episcopal School

The Virginia Episcopal School Bishops basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Covenant Eagles to 26 in the Bishops league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bishops now sport a 7-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carlisle for a VISAA Division IV contest on Thursday, February 2. Virginia Episcopal School will battle a Chiefs team coming off a 55-51 league win over Fishburne Military (Waynesboro, VA). The Chiefs record now stands at 11-8.

The Eagles (1-16) will now prepare for their contest against Monticello (Charlottesville, VA). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 4-14 record. In their last contest, Monticello triumphed over Orange County (Orange, VA), 66-63, in a league contest.
