The Ragsdale Tigers nipped the visiting Southwest Guilford Cowboys basketball squad by a final score of 34-33 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Tigers face the Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC) in a 4A Metro outing, on Tuesday, February 11. Ragsdale will attempt to upgrade on its 14-7 season record. The Vikings enter the battle with a 14-8 record after their 55-37 league win over Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC).

The Cowboys now own a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grimsley for a 4A Metro battle on Tuesday, February 11. Southwest Guilford will meet a Whirlies squad coming off a 59-44 league win over Page (Greensboro, NC). The Whirlies record now stands at 14-5.
