The Northwest Guilford Vikings basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Southwest Guilford Cowboys to 51 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now possess a 10-6 record. They play next when they travel to R.J. Reynolds for a non-league game on Wednesday, January 22. Northwest Guilford will confront a Demons team coming off a 71-20 non-league loss to Watauga (Boone, NC). The Demons record now stands at 4-9.

With the loss, Southwest Guilford falls to 8-5 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Grimsley (Greensboro, NC) to confront the Whirlies in a 4A Metro game on Tuesday, January 21. The Whirlies go into the game with a record of 9-4. Grimsley won 50-43 in their recent league game against Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC)
