February 9, 2024: China Grove, NC 28023

In Friday's league match, the host Carson Cougars basketball team scored a good 79-61 triumph over the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans.

In their next game, the Cougars meet the East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont match, on Tuesday, February 13. Carson will attempt to better on its 13-8 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 3-18 record after their 73-33 league loss to Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC).

With the defeat, Northwest Cabarrus moves to 12-10 on the year. The Trojans host West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC) to meet the Falcons in a 3A South Piedmont match on Friday, February 16. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 11-10.
