The Jonesboro Cardinals basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Griffin Bears to 37 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cardinals now have a 19-8 record. They play next when they host Starr's Mill for a non-league game on Friday, February 14. Jonesboro will confront a Panthers team coming off a 63-54 non-league win over Central (Carrollton, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 15-12.

With the loss, Griffin falls to 17-9 on the campaign.
