The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Central Lions (Carrollton, GA) and the visiting Jonesboro Cardinals (Jonesboro, GA), observed Central's basketball team edge Jonesboro by a score of 58-57.

The Lions (18-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Northside (Columbus, GA). The Patriots come into the AAAA Region 3 challenge with a 7-11 record.

In their next game, the Cardinals encounter the Starr's Mill Panthers (Fayetteville, GA) in a AAAA Region 3 challenge, on Friday, January 31.
