The Central Lions (Carrollton, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Northside Patriots (Columbus, GA), 68-22 in Friday's league bout.

The Lions now possess a 19-3 record. They play next when they travel to Griffin for a AAAA Region 3 bout on Tuesday, February 4. Central will play a Bears team coming off a 64-44 league win over Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA). The Bears record now stands at 13-8.

With the loss, Northside falls to 7-12 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Harris County (Hamilton, GA) to play the Tigers in a AAAA Region 3 bout on Saturday, February 1.
