The Griffin Bears (Griffin, GA) basketball were winner over the visiting Central Lions (Carrollton, GA), 54-43 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Bears now possess a 15-8 record. They play next when they travel to Jonesboro for a AAAA Region 3 bout on Friday, February 7. Griffin will play a Cardinals team coming off a 73-31 league win over Northside (Columbus, GA). The Cardinals record now stands at 17-7.
