Maryland High School Basketball - La Plata beaten by Chopticon

February 14, 2025: Morganza, MD 20660

The Chopticon Braves were victorious over the visiting La Plata Warriors basketball squad by a final score of 62-52 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Braves clash with the Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD) in a Southern Maryland outing, on Tuesday, February 18. Chopticon will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record. The Hornets enter the outing with a 12-5 record after their 66-56 league loss to Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD).

The Warriors (9-11) will now prepare for their outing against Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD). The Cougars enter the Southern Maryland outing with a 4-15 record. In their last outing, Thomas Stone was defeated by St. Charles (Waldorf, MD), 69-35, in a league outing.
