Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Akron Tigers (Akron, NY) and the visiting Albion Purple Eagles (Albion, NY), saw Akron's basketball squad hold off Albion by a tally of 47-46.

With the victory, Akron improves its record to 10-9 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Eden (Eden, NY) to play the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 17. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 9-10. Eden lost 63-57 in their recent league challenge against Holland (Holland, NY)
