In Wednesday's league outing, the Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) basketball squad felled the host Norwalk Bears (Norwalk, CT), by a margin of 69-58.

The Wreckers (13-5) will now prepare for their outing against St. Joseph (Trumbull, CT). The Cadets go into the Fairfield County outing with a 8-9 record.

The Bears now own a 2-16 record. They play next when they travel to Stamford for a Fairfield County outing on Monday, February 20. Norwalk will clash with a Black Knights squad coming off a 46-45 league win over Darien (Darien, CT). The Black Knights record now stands at 11-7.
