The Carson Cougars basketball team (China Grove, NC), was overwhelmed 66-45 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC)

The Trojans now possess a 14-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Cabarrus for a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 21. Northwest Cabarrus will confront a Vikings team coming off a 105-29 non-league win over East Rowan (Salisbury, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 25-0.
