Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV), 70-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Nitro upgrades its record to 21-2 on the season. The Wildcats host Ripley (Ripley, WV) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league bout on Friday, March 1. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 10-12. Ripley lost 78-52 in their recent non-league bout against Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV)
