The Metro Tech Knights baseball squad (Phoenix, AZ), was overwhelmed 9-3 in Thursday's league game with the host Fairfax Stampede (Laveen, AZ)

The Stampede (3-8) will now prepare for their game against Ironwood (Glendale, AZ). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 9-4 record. In their last game, Ironwood nudged Kellis (Glendale, AZ), 17-2, in a league game.

Next, the Knights battle the Alhambra Lions (Phoenix, AZ) in a 5A Metro match, on Tuesday, March 31. Metro Tech will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Lions come into the match with a 10-5 record after their 8-1 non-league loss to Youngker (Buckeye, AZ).
