North Carolina High School Baseball - South Johnston nips West Johnston
April 1, 2025: Benson, NC 27504 The South Johnston Trojans baseball team scored 4 runs and held the host West Johnston Wildcats to 3 in the Trojans league win on Tuesday.
The Trojans now hold a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they host Fike for a Quad County 3A test on Thursday, April 3. South Johnston will play a Demons team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Hunt (Wilson, NC). The Demons record now stands at 3-9.
With the defeat, West Johnston drops to 10-4 on the year. The Wildcats host C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC) to play the Golden Falcons in a Quad County 3A test on Friday, April 4. The Golden Falcons go into the test with a record of 5-8. C.B. Aycock won 5-3 in their recent league test against Southern Wayne (Dudley, NC)
