North Carolina High School Volleyball - Alexander Central over St. Stephens

September 9, 2025: Hickory, NC 28601

In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Alexander Central Cougars volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the St. Stephens Indians.

The Cougars (8-2) will now prepare for their challenge against McDowell (Marion, NC). The Titans enter the Northwestern 6A/7A challenge with a 7-4 record. In their last challenge, McDowell was beaten by South Caldwell (Hudson, NC), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Indians meet the Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC) in a Northwestern 6A/7A test, on Thursday, September 11. St. Stephens will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Patriots go into the test with a 2-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Watauga (Boone, NC).
