Georgia High School Football - McIntosh County Academy defeated by Screven County

September 19, 2025: Darien, GA 31305

The Screven County Gamecocks were victorious over the host McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers football team by a score of 27-0 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Gamecocks face the Jenkins County War Eagles (Millen, GA) in a A D2 Region 3 challenge, on Friday, September 26. Screven County will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The War Eagles come into the test with a 3-2 record after their 49-7 league win over Claxton (Claxton, GA).

With the defeat, McIntosh County Academy drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to Jenkins County (Millen, GA) to clash with the War Eagles in a A D2 Region 3 test on Friday, October 3. The War Eagles come into the game with a record of 3-2.
