Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Taft Raiders (San Antonio, TX) and the visiting Jay Mustangs (San Antonio, TX), saw Taft's basketball squad wallop Jay by a tally of 73-49.

With the victory, Taft improves its record to 15-9 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Harlan (San Antonio, TX) to confront the Hawks in a 6A Region IV District 29 challenge on Friday, January 13. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 13-7. Harlan lost 71-67 in their recent non-league challenge against Judson (Converse, TX)

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Brennan Bears (San Antonio, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 29 challenge, on Friday, January 13. Jay will attempt to improve on its 6-14 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 19-6 record after their 82-76 league win over Holmes (San Antonio, TX).
