The Union Bears (Appalachia, VA) basketball beat the visiting Abingdon Falcons (Abingdon, VA), 58-38 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Bears (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against Ridgeview (Clintwood, VA). The Wolfpack go into the Mountain outing with a 10-3 record. In their last outing, Ridgeview was beaten by Honaker (Honaker, VA), 50-46, in a non-league outing.
