The Reed-Custer Comets basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the host Wilmington Wildcats to 22 in the Comets league victory on Thursday.

The Comets now sport a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Streator for a Illinois Central 8 contest on Thursday, January 18. Reed-Custer will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 42-23 league loss to Herscher (Herscher, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-21.

The Wildcats (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against Beecher (Beecher, IL). The Bobcats come into the non-league contest with a 9-10 record.
