In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Reed-Custer Comets basketball team scored a good 49-40 triumph over the Wilmington Wildcats.

In their next game, the Comets meet the Coal City Coalers (Coal City, IL) in a non-league match, on Saturday, November 18. Reed-Custer will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Coalers enter the match with a 3-0 record after their 58-22 non-league win over Gardner-South Wilmington (Gardner, IL).

With the defeat, Wilmington moves to 2-1 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Morris (Morris, IL) to meet the Redskins in a non-league match on Saturday, November 18. The Redskins enter the match with a record of 1-1.
