The Wilmington Wildcats basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the host Reed-Custer Comets to 34 in the Wildcats league victory on Monday.

The Wildcats now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Manteno for a Illinois Central 8 contest on Thursday, November 30. Wilmington will battle a Panthers team coming off a 53-27 league loss to Peotone (Peotone, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 2-3.

The Comets (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Seneca (Seneca, IL). The Fighting Irish come into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Seneca prevailed over Henry-Senachwine (Henry, IL), 49-34, in a league contest.
